In a world where public safety is paramount, organisations in the public and private sector are seeking effective crisis management solutions to protect communities. This webinar, hosted by D4H, now part of EcoOnline, is designed to provide valuable insights for organisations to enhance their crisis preparedness, and response capabilities to protect their communities.

Join us for an engaging fireside chat between Billy Pappas, Emergency Management Specialist at D4H (now part of EcoOnline) and David Thurston, Health and Safety Manager at the University of Greater Manchester. David will draw on his experiences, at the university and share insights to identifying critical gaps in crisis management processes and implementing solutions to close them. David will particularly discuss lessons learnt following a serious fire at student accommodation block, The Cube.

The discussion will explore the wide range of challenges faced by organizations responsible for public safety — from education and transport to housing, healthcare, corporate campuses, and cultural institutions. Such places need to plan for risks including fire emergencies, terrorism threats, extreme weather events, and public disorder.

Attendees will learn about the strategies and tools necessary to bolster their crisis management processes, ensuring they are prepared to meet the evolving demands of public safety.
